debt management

Posted In: Uncategorized by admin

Over the last few years, banks have been accused of aiding the creation of a whole generation of debtors with many students graduating with debts of tens of thousands of pounds. They appear to make it so very easy to rack up huge debts by granting students loans and credit cards with such ease. But where is the advice on how to deal with paying them off once they are in the real world of employment with additional financial responsibilities on their shoulders? There certainly doesn’t seem to be much in the way of debt management  advice available from traditional banks so an increasing number of people are turning to the Internet where they can find the help they need through specialist websites.

One reads the stories about people being cheated by their banks in one way or another in magazines and newspapers and it seems to have been going on for the past few years but more recently at an alarming and increasing rate. Be it they are not doing their best for their customers by their extortionate administration fees and charges, or excessively high rates or indeed selling payment protection insurance cover to people that do not really require it in the first place. Consumer confidence in banks has fallen dramatically over the years and with the financial situation as it is, people are very wary of who they choose to deal with for their financial matters such as loan applications, money transfer and foreign exchange.
